alot of people go with b16 or itr pistons. i read that the p30( b16) pistons have built in oil-pockets to help cool and protect the pistons skirt and wrist. I was gonna build a lsv a few years back and i was gonna go with the itr you can find either and many other optins for pistons and parts on just about any site. here are a few if you have not already been to them INLINEFOUR.COM - Mon.~Sat. 9:30am~6:30pm PST - 11400 Knott Street, Garden Grove, CA 92841 Specializing in JDM-USDM Engines & Parts...hmotorsonline.com Engine Internals | Pistons, rods, camshafts, valvetrain, etc.... | Password JDM you can find just about anything you need for the ls vtec on those sites and there reputible shops to. and with the b16 head you can use a 92-35 civic ex harness. i would also think about getting a 2 layer head gasket to bump the compression a little. not sure how much your gonna build it but some nice cams and valve train would make that thing rip....

here is some ls v threads to ill post more if i find any
ITR head and B18b block
