Old Motor OBD1 New Motor OBD2?

I have a 95 Acura Integra LS which is obd1. Im wanting to put a obd2 motor in it. I have did a search and can't seem to find something that explains it clearly enough 2 where I will understand Several people told me to just get obd1 distributor and injectors and run a obd1 ecu and since my car is a LS just run the vtec wires. Well JDM Engine Depot told me to get the OBD1 to OBD2 conversion and just run the obd2 ECU. Anyone know where I can get this conversion? Or would it be better running the obd1 ecu since they are more tunable? Any help would be great.

Your best bet is to get an OBD1 ECU (or a chipped GSR clone P28) and stay with it. Reuse your alternator, injectors, harness, and the rewire teh distributor plug for he OBD2 GSR distributor. You may be able to sell the OBD2 GSR ECU to help cover the cost of a P28 or OBD1 P72.
