Hahaha.... I just happen to know the REAL reason people cry about Rotas. They can deny it until they are blue in the face but, the real reason is that they own the real deal product that Rota is trying to emulate and they're pissed that for 25% of the price someone else can even get a wheel that LOOKS pretty damn similar

Best part is, half of the people crying about Rotas have never even been to a track of any kind. Yeah, like they really get some high end performance outta them Mugen wheels that they wouldn't get outta the Rotas.... haha... what a joke.

Secondly, even if YOU DO RACE, the wheel you have isn't going to make THAT much of a difference. Not nearly as much of a difference as the TIRES that go on those wheels.

So to all those Rota haters out there, just fess up We all know you're pissed that someone can have a similar LOOK as you at 25% of the cost

Like I always say, it ain't your car... you don't have to drive it... why the fuck do you care what someone else does to THEIR car?

Sheesh....

Oh....

DON'T CLOSE OR MOVE THIS THREAD.

I'm making this the official Rota arguement thread

Miguel

When you hook up a Honda Civic or anything like it, you are making it into something it is not. Wanna get what you pay for? You're in the wrong sport buddy.

You don't need it to be lighter, they're already light. Any wheel can break and for driving in the streets Rotas are just fine. Matter of fact, Rotas are also fine for most track uses too. Dude, you have no clue what you're talking about. You follow what other people say and that's all you know. Tell me... have you ever owned a set of Rotas? Spoons? Mugen? Volks?

What experience do you have? If none... then I guess you're done giving misinformation.

But thanks anyway.

Miguel

If you only had money to make your car faster or ride on some bling wheels, which would you choose?

Sure I'll answer... look a few posts up. I already did. I owned both. The fact of the matter is most Honda owners that hook up their cars are under the age of 25. alot of those being MUCH younger. Some of these people can't afford to both make their cars fast AND buy $1500-$2500 wheels. Thus they need to make compromises. Compromises that have no bearing on the life, well being, wealth or shitting habits of another Honda owner. Thus my question, why the fuck would anyone care what someone else does to their car????

Thanks,
Miguel
