I don't think that's very accurate. Like you said, GM hasn't been ran right for probably 10-15 years. I mean, the two best sellers of the company are in direct competition with their full size pickup line. It's a business, learn to adapt, put out EXCITING vehicles with new ideas while spending less on advertising, and be in the business to make money. GM did none of that for a very long time. They just recently started doing so with the Pontiac line, and then they killed it. I don't see GM getting out of this. I'm pretty sure this is the end of the line for them, they are pretty much putting everything on the new Camaro, which is sick, but not enough to save them I believe.
And the worst part IMO is how many BILLIONS did we Americans put into it? What did that accomplish other then delaying the inevitable? Nothing. Jobs are still being cut by them, and more jobs will keep being cut.
