GTI vs WRX vs my CRX

just ran these guys last night, the GTI was sandbaggin saying he only had a chip but he most likely has the APR 30 Edition setup. the WRX guy is a buddy of mine and he trapped 101mph at the track and we pulled on him pretty good. in the race from a roll I almost topped out 5th gear, took it up to about 7500rpm, it was moving

it's in my sig but it's a stock B18C with a 9psi jackson supercharger and a 25 shot of nitrous, pulls pretty good at the moment

ha ha, what's funny is that I was concentrating so hard looking forward and at the dash, I didn't know until I watched the video it was that close at first. I'm just glad I didn't miss a shift or something

Wow, I'd be curious to know what mods that WRX has because it seemed pretty slow compared to you guys. Also, I have no idea what the special edition VW or whatever is but it seemed pretty dang fast.

the WRX has a exhaust, intake (I think), and an ECU retune, he dyno'd 240 to the wheels on a mustang dyno which typically dyno 5% lower than dynojets.

and hell yeah I sprayed, had to make sure I didn't lose the VW is pretty quick, he won't tell anyone whay he really has done to it or what he dyno's. I've got about 270whp on spray and I weigh 800 pounds less than his car and only beat him by a few cars so I'm guessing he's got a little over 300whp.

ha ha, turbo is cool, my old CRX was turbocharged. for now instant full boost at any rpm is pretty fun and since my charger is intercooled it's a lot nicer than the standard jackson kit.

I'm starting to save up to fully build the motor, full Benson bottom end and ported and polished head with all the toys. maybe after I have a motor that can safely handle a lot more power I'll look into a different setup, for now the charger is fine.
