best DSM!?

alright. I'm tryin to get some ideas of what I'm gonna do body-wise to the car when I get it back out from the motor swap. so basically lets see your favorite pics of dsms. Doesnt matter what generation. I have a 1g. Does anybody know of a simple lip kit or maybe even an ARC diffuser that they make for these? it just seems like theres a very limited amount of things to do to the body of a 1g other than just slapping some body kit on it with wheels. I'm happy with the GSX blades

Here's my roomate's 1998 GSX

...and his old 3g, and my dumbass friend's pos Sentra SE-R SpecV

-----------------------

-----------------------

Start

-----------------------
No valve cover

-----------------------
Down to the block

-----------------------
Pulled the head with the manifold. Way easier.

-----------------------
Closer look at block. Gettin ready to clean up the deck.

-----------------------
Valves were all good!

-----------------------

-----------------------
Back from the machine shop! Gave it a good soak and had them check all the valves/seats/cams/lifters/etc. Plus they de-burred the cast lines from the intake and exhaust ports.

-----------------------

Well most of the 1G guys keep it close to stock anyway....you can always make your own...its not super hard but just depends on how desperate you are to change the looks.

Add some CF canards and maybe a front splitter....

I own a 1g and let me tell you in my experience with 1g's you only have a few options

1.pick a 1990-1992 1g
2.pick 1992.5-1994 1g (my favorite!)
3.buy a body kit in which my opinion NO body kit never ever looks good on a 1g period.

just lower it put nice rims on it repaint it. two tone like a talon for the win.
put gauges, front mount, headunit, shift knob and maybe seats and 4 point harnesses

dsms especially 1g's were meant to go fast not be show cars. these are the cars you hit 11/10sec 1/4 times with and showing up all other cars. a honda is a type of car you hit 15/14 seconds 1/4 times maybe lower with but showing off more in looks then speed.
