Quality HIDs

Ive been wanting to get HIDs for a long time now and Ive decided to finally get some.

What ive been wondering is what makes a HID kit good... The ballasts or the bulbs? or Both?

Reason why I ask is that they sell these HID kits on ebay for $60 shipped. Price has me worried though. I checked the feedback and no one has complained about it so far?

the only "quality kits" are comprised of all oem hid equipment, bulbs, ballasts, and projectors (or reflectors).

i bought the kit off of ebay any color any temp and its plug and play set up 60 bucks shipped and i have had no problems with them

i was actually wondering the same, if it was safe to buy the hid's from ebay because i been wanting a purple kit myself

ive got 1 mculloch kit and 1 ebay kit have had no problem not caused by me with either of them...only problem i caused is i fired one of the mculloch ballasts the wire was bare and shorted out and f-ed it all up(i accidently made the wire bare and didnt know it)

I got mine for about $100 ship. Quality product so far after 3 months. It was from some vendor on clubcivic.


Make sure you get 4300k! 6000k AT THE MOST. 8000K+ is for the ricers and stuff.

My friend bought 8000ks off HIDNY.com don't exactly remember the price but it was definitely under 150 bones. They look great i recommend these guys they know their lights well thats where im getting mine from

if you're gonna go HID. do it the RIGHT way. retrofit OEM projectors and use 4300K. 8000K is for ppl who want tickets and like Arthas said ... ricers

your stock housing is not meant for HID bulbs. unless your goal is to blind other drivers.
