A bit lengthy, but I really need some opinions.

So this spring I will be in the market for a "new" car. My budget is going to be around 15k + or -. Over the years I have fallen in love with alot of cars and this will be a graduation gift to myself. I'm just trying to think a few months ahead (cuz its fun) and I need some insight in to what would be the best choice. Opinions encouraged.

My current wish list in no particular order.

1. S2000 - Prices have dropped a lot now that they have been around for 9-10 years. Lately I've been seeing early year S2000s with around 50-60k miles for as low as maybe $12k-$15k. All I'd do as far as mods is I/H/E, Hard top, suspension and Wheels over the span of about a year after I buy the actual car and call it a day. As far as insurance goes, I'm 22, but it will be under my parents til i'm 25.

2. Lexus SC300 (92-95) - These don't seem to be in as much demand as the hondas and prices seem to reflect that. After scrolling craigslist for the past few months, it looks like you can pick one up with a decent body around $4-5k. With my $15k budget, I'd have money to spare to do a 1jzgte (cheaper than 2jzgte) swap. With any left over money I'd use to just do suspension/wheels/turbo - pretty much as far as it will take me til I meet my budget.

3.CR-X (90-91) - I've had 4 EFs, 2 being CR-Xs and the CR-X was my first car when I was 16 (so I have more of a sentimental feeling toward this car). Since I could pick up a pretty decent shell for bout $3k, this would give me room for ALOT of mods. Possibly k20/suspension the whole deal.

Things to note:
I live in IL so even though we do have snow/salt I still own my del sol AND a Nissan Pathfinder for the snow. For the CR-X and SC300, they will never have to be inspected or go through emissions since they are 1995 and below, so I can do whatever setup I want.

Well there it is. If you guys could give me some insight/opinions that would be great.
Thanks

-Mike

It is a daily driver, but I would like to have a fast daily driver and eventually a drag monster. Theres a lot of mustangs, and neons who I'd like to shut up on the streets. haha Any advice will help. Thanks. And No I don't want a k20.

I'm going to use an extra wheel i have as a spare. So the donut will be gone as well. Also, going to add the third EM Racing bar. I would like to see some pics of other trunks of that nature.
