Im completely new to the import world. I have owned all muscle cars till now and let me tell you its a different world!haha...Im planning on trading my MINT 1998 Pontiac Trans Am, with lots of goodies on it, for a BRAND NEW 6 bolt swap 1996 AWD Talon/GSX conversion. The owner is actually finishing up the build this week and we plan on trading frid. Says this thing should put down about 400-425hp.I have no idea of what im getting into...haha...i mean i know its a 4 cyl with a new bigger turbo on it and that its cammed/stroked and all that stuff but this whole driving a turbod/AWD car is new to me. I was hoping you guys could give me some info on things like:

-Things to look for
-Whats the difference in the reg talon and the 6bolt swap
-Do these cars have more than one cam
-Setting Boost Level
-Brake boosting
-Whats my best race gonna be
-How to launch a AWD car
Things of that nature...im not real sure on all the mods either. Ill list them and let you guys get started.

My name is Samantha and I'm from New York. I have 1993 Honda Civic EX with a JDM D15B that I race in a 4-cylinder class. I used to have a D16Z6 in it but I blew a rod right through the front of the block.. Oops

Now my goal is to build a "Frankenstein"... I have the rebuilt head and all accessories from the D16Z6 and a completely rebuilt D15B block, head, and all accessories from that motor. I heard the 'ideal combination' would be the D15B block with the Z6 head... Suggestions?
I picked up a D15Z1 motor today as well, not sure if that'll be much help.

I'll post some pics of the car and motors when i'm allowed...
