id go with a old SC/soarer baby! plus you can make a crap load of power swapping in the supra motor (the SC300 has the NA supra motor)

SC is too old, GS is too big for her. She wants something small, I want something pimp. Thats why I chose the C class. All in all I will be waiting about a year to do whatever I think. That may give me time to get ahold of a c32 amg. To be honest buying the bottom of the line merc dosent bother me, hell my chevaru is the bottom of the line from that maker, yes the forrester, legacy, and baha are all "better" model's than my lil impreza.

One other thing to consider, the Merc is a status symbol to my wife. Its like people that overpay for a Ducati instead of getting a faster, more reliable japanese bike. Like Manny said before, usually what Andi wants Andi gets

Though, ditching the truck on 22's and getting myself a GS is a definate possibility.

if you insist on the VIP look, go with a nice C55 AMG. thats VIP, not any crap bottom of the line.

i knew a guy who worked for benz (he's at porsche now) and he told me never to get a benz. he said the quality is below a standard honda and they break all the time. (and yes, he knows hondas, he has a CRX Si)

so do yourself a favor, and keep the WRX or get a different VIP car
this is hear is quite true. both my parents have owned several Porsches, BMW's, and right now my mom is in a C230 Kompressor. Mercedes are pieces of sh**. i mean, mechanically the car has been reliable and ran great, until something breaks! Here in lauderdale, i see 20 million Mercedes a day. 90% of them only have one functional brake light including my moms! i see freakin AMG's with one brake light. all that money on a brand new car, and the freaking break lights are sh**. were putting my mom's C230 up for sale, and she's looking into a BMW 5 series. our family hasnt had any major problems with BMW. sorry for the rant, i may be biased about Benz VS BMW, but from past experiences, i feel that way.

if you decide to sell the WRX, you're definately gona want a weekend toy! good luck with you decision!

just to point out, you guys are talkin about his sub $30k car intrest vs a $190k car decision. great to spend other peoples money.

i quoted you for this

MSRP: $185,775*
Engine: AMG-built twin-turbocharged 6.0L SOHC 36-valve V-12 engine
Net Power: 604 hp @ 4,800 - 5,100 rpm
Net Torque: 738 lb-ft @ 2,000 - 4,000 rpm

no need for tuning to "push out" 600hp.

Before 1994 Benz was still good. Now they're only selling crappy plastic cars. Personally I'd only buy Benzes up to 89. You bought it and the car lived longer than you That was quality. I don't think that the new Benzes will become oldtimers, that means older than 25 years... it's impossible IMO... but ok, let them doing their work.

BMW was good all the years... but today the quality falls too. But they are still better than Ben... eermm Daimler Chryslers I think.

mercedes still has its own engineers and development team. chrystler just owns a controling majority of the stock. Mercedes, is still a seperate company, but falls under the Daimler umbrella. sorta like Hi-C and Coke.

dude, for the money everyone else is talkin about, scope a Nissan G35.
