Transmission Question... please give info!

Hey guys, i have kinda a n00b question, but my car is leaking fluid, and after taking it to the shop, i was told its leaking transmission fluid. They told me as a temporary fix i could go buy a bottle of stop-leak at pep-boys, and i went to put it in my car, and i realized, i have no idea where it goes.

Can someone please tell me where to put this? or if its evben possible?

its my stock crx engine, d15, 5sp transmission. This is my first manual car, so im lost when it come to this, Sorry for the question!

stop leak will destroy all of your transmission seals. all it does is swell them up and make them very soft. powersteering fluid does the same thing.

more than likely it is just the output shaft seal. order seals for each side (few bucks a piece). remove your axels, remove the old seals, install new ones with a seal driver, and install axels.

NEVER EVER EVER EVER, USE ANY FORM OF STOP LEAK ON ANY CAR.
