Dude if your looking for NA power on an SOHC a cheapy 99 header isnt gonna do much anyway

Just pick up a used DC 4-2-1 until you move on

I sold a 4-1 SOHC header back in 05 when I had bought a Z6 93 Si hatch that it came with...threw in a B16 and parted out that little Z6 like nothing lol...mostly to friends with SOHCs but I wouldnt worry about 421 vs 4-1 on a SOHC with stock internals/cam/mani...it wont make that much of a difference anyway

I really like the way 4-1 headers looked like compared to 4-2-1. I have a used DC 4-2-1, but it keeps blowing the down pipe gasket and the flange that meets the cat doesnt sit perpendicular to the ground. The down-pipe has a gansta lean to it, so it leaks a bit. 4-1's are one piece so ill solve that problem.

Plus its been proven that 4-1 headers give more high end gain compared to 4-2-1's.

You really think a mass produced cheapy header for a stock SOHC is gonna gain a substantial difference in "top end" over a 4-2-1? The 2hp difference between the two would be hardly enough to even worry about

You are doing it for looks so I can semi understand why you want one but unless you get lucky searching for a used 4-1 header $99 for a new one isnt going to cut it....those cheapy headers crack with a few harsh words...

Are you running a turbo off the header? You keep saying down pipe and your sig says boosted so I have to ask...

Can you stop spamming my thread please?? I did not come in here asking which header adds more HP, all I wanted to know is where I can get a SOHC 4-1 header.

No im not running a turbo off of the header. It is a for a N/A D16Y8.
Funny how people say cheapy headers crack easily. The DC one I have cracked and the generic one is still holding up like a champ.
