Is 289hp from a n/a 2.6L L4 possible

if so, Honda's next (if ever) S2000 should have that power plant and do 60 in 4.8sec flat . So what do you think?

Not to sure what a 2.6L L4 is....289hp N/A is solid, would be better if it was from a 1.6L tho lol

Lets see

240 from 2.0L = 120hp per liter
290 from 2.6L = 111.5 per liter

Now this is crank of course but I have seen 2.3 and 2.4L motors put 300+whp down so either way YES its possible...not cheap...but possible

A better combo would be a boosted 2.2L with about 300-330hp...in case you hadnt heard -- turbo Hondas are fast

Yes it's possible. It's been done with less. Now how do you make that combination last for at least 100k miles?

ive seen 1.6 n/a go 180 whp so i think its possible but as said above not cheap

Yes, easily attainable with a built K series. All motor drag teams are doing a LOT more than that with under 2.6L displacement.

dont go for boost cuz if u build interaly poeple would be like a n/a honda its slow and then u blow doors with headers intake cams camgears exhuast and hondata u can get all that for the price of a small boost kit at least thats what i did
