rough start, backfires, timing problem?

hello all i just swaped from dpfi to mpfi
in my 1991 civic jdm d15b(non-vtec)
after the swap, it starts really rough and only
sounds like 2 cylinders are working
after it starts, it purrs and sputters off an on
i feel like i've literally checked everything
ignition coil, alll of my own wiring(like 30 times lol)
dizzy cap and plug placement
please any adive is greatly appreciated

sounds like its off by 2 teeth trust it just happen to me like 1 week ago ..check that and see

no cels ? bad ecu ? bad fuses or ground could cause it too probably but im not sure

what do you mean off by two teeth?, are you talking about the dizzy rotor?

oh its throwing a 16 but i've checked the injectors multiple times

My bet is that it is a fuel issue.

Check fuel going to each cylinder. Unplug the injector clips while the car is running, one at a time. If the RPM drops, that cylinder was getting fuel. If there is no change, that cylinder was not getting fuel, and you wired something wrong.

okay so i ran a few tests lol
and everything seems to be working fine,
infact, after a 15 min drive on the highway,
the car just seemed to run all the problems through
and well the car runs great now,
i really appreciate all the help!!!!
