h22a4 motor

my friend is selling a h22a4 complete motor for 500 with no tranny. is this a good deal ? this is my 1st time getting a h22 i have a 95 honda accord what will be the best motor for my car .

yes thats a good deal and that would be the perfect motor for that car u can use the f22 tranny for the h22

If I can do all over again, I would never stick with my F22 tranny. The H22 doesn't have its full potential and not as fast as it should be when using the F22 trans. If I was you, I'd get myself an M2a4, M2b4 LSD, or the T2t4 LSD trans. All of these would give the H22 its full potential.

F22 trannies are no good; you will lose power and regret.

$500 cash for a running H22A4 is pretty damn good deal man, too bad it's not the JDM H22a the cams are slightly more aggressive and they pull a lot harder if you ask me then the USDM H22A4. If your sticking N/A get the right transmission like "nusdogg" said; but if you planning boost anytime later on you might wanna keep you stock 5-speed accord tranny.

N/A H22 + Long geared transmission =

Haha yup, when I got my T2T4 LSD trans installed, I was like "Damn, I felt like I gain 50hp to the wheel!" lol
