vtec engaging

hey anyone have any ideas to check to see if vtec is kicking in? it doesnt feel like vtec doesnt kick in my mini me. i got the computer and the obd I conversion for my ZC sohc with Y8 head and intake manifold.

u should feel at least a small difference in power when it engages.If u can check the soleniod to see if it clicks when u ground it.Also do u have enough oil as well?

check your "VTEC JUICE"
and you can also wire in a vtec light so when it hits the light comes on..just get an L.E.D and ground it then splice the positve into the vtec wire from the sol..but make sure you dont just cut it and connect to the l.e.d

yeah it clicks so its good i probably will get a vtec
led light hooked up

yea im putting one on my 91 si hatch as soon as i get the vtec head..because its good to know if vtec is working or not
