Question Turning the buzzer OFF

Hey all I need to know how I can shut the buzzer up in my '91 hatch that beeps for instance for a few seconds when you first start the car, or when you take your seatbelt off while the car is on. Mine has messed up and will NOT stop beeping lol and its driving me crazier than I already am. I've looked at both fuse locations that I know of (under steering column and under-hood) and have found nothing in either place about the buzzer. Anybody know how to shut it up?

There's not an actual problem that i'm aware of that would be causing it to stay on, I have replaced the driver's side door a couple days ago with one from a salvageyard but I took the panel off and everything looked fine in there, nice & clean from what I could see. The little harness that plugs into the door fits snugly.

Well that light is flashing but thats not where the beep comes from, sounds like it comes out from under the dash.

I had the same issue. Unplug the light under the rearview and it will stop beeping, but it will still flash on the instrument cluster unless you shut the car off.

Hm, well that will temporarily work I guess! I'm wondering whats actually wrong and how to get that blinking light to shut off, too, though.

Yup, I always wanted to turn this noise into something funny, like a duck quacking or a fart noise. Figured it would be way more attention-getting than a stupid buzzer, and would actually elicit a response other than ignoring it.
