Okay so not too long ago i was driving my buddies DA GS-R, real deal not some fake shit. Well i put some gas in it and i was like oh look at this little lid holder. Very nice touch Acura (or Honda I should say), so I immediately went home and ordered a few. So yesterday when I recieved a package I was stoked. BUt when I opened it there was only one with a note attached. "Sorry we couldnt complete your order, just this one and its the last one in the country". I was like yeah last one my ass. So today I called every dealer in the known galaxy. It turns out he wasnt lying, I will try japan next. So I have one for myself but I cant help get anymore. Sorry
The good news is you can find these in any junkyard on second gen legends, I believe they all came with these. The part number is off by one digit but they are exactly the same. Also completely sold out on backorder -99. Well heres some pics. I know its not something crazy, but the little things make me happy. I cant tell you how I hate putting my gas cap on the pumps, or on my spoiler. Check your local dealers guys and get em. Double sided sticky tape and your good.

PS. Oh yeah peep my brand new oem honda crx gas cap. Im a junky for oem parts.

thats what i hate about my car, lack of gas cap holder. i hate that little plastic tether that makes it hand and hit my paint.

Exactly the tether is lame, WTF why didnt any other models get this thing. Its funny that acura only put thes eon the high end models. LOL Frickin 5 dollar holder is high end.

Great idea, I always put the cap in the crack between the roof and hatch, so it stares me in the face, or i hear it thud if i forget

Damn and here I thought gas cap holders came standard on all Hondas till now; both my prelude and Accord have had them.

Yeah...I suppose double sided tape would have been way easier than what I did.

I took the entire fuel door, removed the metal bracket, and welded it onto my fuel door. Works the same I guess and that would have been way easier.

Not only that it's nice to have, but you won't look like a noob with the gas cap scratching up the new paintjob.
