Tranny Help/Question
im doing a d16z6 swap and i have the gay dx civic with a 4 speed so i went to the junk yard today to get me a 5 speed tranny and i did so but the tranny i bought was out of a 91 si but the motor in the si was a d15b2 and si's have a d16a6 so my question is on my tranny it is stamped SL3 5029908 so is it a si tranny or a reg 5speed that gos with a d15b2?

the only way i thnk of that would be helpful is shift the tranny by hand where the shift linkage connects and count how many times you can shift it in and out and compare it to your 4 speed tranny .
