i managed to fix the problem and get an aluminum braided line and just use screw clamps. The hose was se 3/8's. As for the wires going to the top of the actual pump, I snapped off the actually connector at the top, resoldered longer lines positive and negative and then plugged the top of the hole with tank sealant. Worked like a charm.
NOW...i started it up and i have fuel!...SOO i have fuel and spark but it still wont turn. I bought AN banjo line that went to the fuel filter to the fuel line and now its leaking from the end of the actual Army navy fitments...but progress has been made
