Quick Swap Question

I have a 1991 civic ex sedan and my motor is about to die. This is my daily car so I dont wanna go all out on a motor swap. I found a 1997 civic dx hatch that the guy is swaping out the motor for a b series. I spoke to him and he said he'll sell me the motor but he wants to keep the intake and exhaust manifolds why I dont know. My question is will my d16a6 intake and exhaust manifolds fit or do I have to use the d16y7 ones. Also do I have to do any wire modifications to use this motor and is their anything else I need to do besides the usual stuff to get this running.

i am sure that your intake and exh mani will fit on that motor, but honestly it would be a nitemare trying to wire it all up. idk how much he wants to sell you the shortblock for, but you might want to look into buying a cheap replacement motor from a engine importer online or locally if you are close by such a shop. or try your local junkyard.
