wiring issue 90 crx dx

so i bought this crx over the winter and when i hit my directional's the clock flash's and the radio turns off and wont come back on. also when i turn my lights on the clock goes out and the directional's in the corner lights do not come on. i pulled the old dash out cause the PO painted the dash red and silver and transferred the wiring over to the new dash. i only found one ground wire that is connected to the steering column and made sure all the grounds are good. what do you think the problem could be?

p.s. i replaced the alternator a few months back and wasnt sure which alternator i should have used so i went with the 90-91 integra alternator.

alternator is probably not your problem, sounds weird tho

after sitting for a long peroid of time everything works but once it is warmed up thats when all that crap starts happening

maybe ground? Check all the black wires where they bolt to the chassis, clean then and reattach. But try to find out if the blinker and stereo are on the same circuit.

thats what i checked and made sure were good before i put it on the road.
would the wrong gauge cluster cause this type of problem? i have a couple clusters at home and the one in the crx is different. the high beam indicator is next to the right directional and does not light up, but on the other one i have it is next to the left directional. im gonna swap that over tomorrow and see if that helps.

my buddy had a similair problem.... he had the ground hooked up to the illumination wire. the second cluster u mentioned is a 90-91, which one do you have in now? 88-89?

well i swapped out the clusters and now i have the high bean indicator again but still didnt fix the problem.

you sure you checked all the grounds? check the ground coming from the tail light...maybe its corroted or loose

so i double checked all the grounds in the engine bay and made sure they were all good. i also checked the ground for the tail lights and that was good also. so who knows that it could be.
