Foglight identification

Does anyone know what kind of foglights these are?
I'm thinking of buying them but I'd like to know more about them because to me they look longer than other pairs i've seen.

The guy selling them says they're from an ef8.

And if all of that checks out, how would they look on a hatch? Since they're so long.

i would say they were prelude stanleys but im not sure cuz the only reason i say that is if u look at post #630 **JDMU EF-Crew** that crx appears to have the same ones but yellow and the owner THINKS they're from a prelude but once again Im not 100% on this

I was going to say the same. Looks like Prelude fogs.

Can anyone tell by the brackets how easy it'd be to pop on the hatch?
If they're just prelude fogs then I won't get them.. the guy is selling them for $220 shipped as 'ef8 foglights'.

Prelude foglights are about the same size as the CRX ones - at least the 90-91 lude fogs I was looking at. They're too wide.

And looking at that bracket - it doesn't look like it will pop right on. It looks taller and much different than the foglight brackets I have.

Here's a pic of the foglight bracket that fits my CRX. I made this one, but it's very close in basic shape/dimensions to the OEM one (I had one to work with).

I would say ef7 fog lights if not prelude. The 88-89 style CRX bumper required one to cut the square openings in the bumper to accomodate the fogs. These fog lights were longer from left to right than the EF8 ones. I believe Mikes 88 CRX (current ride) had those holes in the bumper when he purchased it.

I'm tempted to hop on them, but for that price I can't afford for them to be not what I expected so I won't get em.

Thanks peeps.

I believe these are the ef7 sir fog lights. like ef_squad said...bumper needs to be cut and pre-existing lines for the cuts are on the ef7, well two different templates exist, one for the longer stanley fogs and the other for the access optional bosch fogs.

no problem! I just ordered the ef7 sir fog lights myself, but won't be cutting the bumper, will be placing them in the inner center part of the bumper.
