K-Series into EG FAQ's

i personally wouldnt recommend the k-series in a crx..the oil pan scraps alot..but it is rediculously fast

the oil pan hangs low in all the chasis that u swap a K into pretty much ... just cant have your car slammed, and u can replace the k20 oil pan with a k24 oil pan which generaly will give you an extra 1" of clearance....

In an EG i kno if u want power steering, u either have 2 cut in2 the hood or get an Si idler pulley from the 01-05 Si and it'll work...and the K20A2 has a CR of 9.6:1

And 4 the swap, u can just use DC sports Acura TSX headers, it clears.

all of this is wrong, except the idler pulley....

u can get the ps to fit without cutting a hole i think, and the k20a2 is without a doubt in the world 11.0:1 CR

nah i'm just another guy doin the swap i got a friend who is nasty with hondas though so he'll be doin alot of the major stuff i'll just end up doin the bitch work as i am not that good with hondas i think i got everything for it except kpro my pulley setup and putting it into the car just a question for ya am i gonna need a halfshaft for this bitch? k20a2 into an eg i didn't see any mention of it but i don't wanna start puttin it together to find out i need more parts i am using hybrid racing stage II axles
i didn't know about that k24 oilpan tidbit i do like my car a little lower than stock so that is very good info that'll be the first mod then i'll worry about brakes i just don't think stock 93 dx's will hold up for very long hehehehe

so your stock power steering won't work if you don't have that pully if you have a 95 civic? will i have to customize my magnaflow exhaust to fit the headers on the k20?

^^^ im really not a big help when it comes to PS, because im not using it ...its extra weight and robs HP.... besides, u dont need power steering in a 200lbs car...

As far as your exhaust, yes, u will have to midify and b or d series exhaust... aftermarket K series heads extend far past the point of a b/d series header...

yea its got one i didn't take the plastic off of it yea mine are probably the same shit cause i got a dx oh its gonna be fun kpro came today just waiting on my aem pulley for the 3 pulley setup then it should be time to drop the motor in can't wait
