On to my next build

So today I traded my Rex for a 2000 4 door civic lx. It's got 133k on a perfectly running motor with no leaks and a auto tranny that shifts smooth. Yes I got a automatic... But it's got power windows and locks and ac (well everything is there for the ac I just need to reconnect the power wire to it and change out a line that I already have and recharge it...) the interior is good with some minor stains. The body is kinda rough but best of all is it's 110% rust free. I'll have pictures up some time soon

Congrats. Ya, post up some pics. I would have kept the CRX. Just being honest.

Yeah it's a automatic but the way I look at it is I'm planning on doing a motor swap to a f or h2b so doing a 5 speed conversion then won't be so hard. Also with it being a ek there are a lot more parts around especially where I live. My crx looked nice but the wheel bearings needed to be changed, the breaks were shot and there was a longer list on what needs to be changed so I figure I'd step up to something newer. I have plans for this car and I have money this time since I sold my samurai so you'll see why I did the trade soon enough

Yeah I know a 5 speed would of saved me some hassle but for now im happy with having a stock quiet car again and one with out oil leaks or torn cv boots. For now I'm just going to focus on getting this car to the ground on a fresh set of rims with some tint and tow hooks and turn some heads

so today i drove 200 miles on 4 gallons of gas so im very happy with how this car runs on long trips. also i got a drivers door to replace the broken window motor and i also got the passenger mirror so now i have factory black mirrors and after getting the window to work i just need to get the ac working, change the tie rod ends and change the o2 sensor and i will have a 100% perfectly working car. this is also the first car ive owned that has working cruse control and i can get used to this

more pics will be up later but heres a teaser to keep things interesting

To update this project I'm going to trade my stock air box for a short ram from my friend. Tomorrow I'm going to pick up a clean front bumper and fenders. Also I'm hoping to pick up 5 speed pedals, the dash and engine harness so i won't have a cel on, and the clutch master and all the lines needed. Ohh and a ac pump to get my ac blowing again. My step dad hooked it up with one of his old coworker's that runs a tow service that does strickly hondas so I should get all that I need tomorrow

Does your A/C compressor not work? Have you tested it before you go buy another one?

Yes I've tested it. The power wire wasn't connected so I reconnected it and checked all the other wires. The only thing I didn't do was a light test.

So today I was messing with the wireing for the ac and I got it to turn on. Then I went to change the line that was bent but the new one is about 2-3" short because the other line it's connected to is also bent. That will be fixed soon I hope. Once the ac works then it's time for tint and to slam it on some j mags once I get my new bumper and fenders and then start to piece together a f2b kit. It's going to have to just be a cruser for a few months while I get all the little pieces needed for the swap. Since this is my only car it'll have to be done all in one shot

I'm not sure but I'm going to be getting good lines through a guy with some parts once he bleeds out the pressure on the other car. But today I picked up a good passenger fender, bumper support and a driver side tail light. It's getting close to be looking top shape
