Yes, the parts on his list are "replicas", but you were trying to say legit OEM and name brand parts are NOT obtainable on ebay. Or how you so elegantly put it "E-gay". Now i call Bull-Sh*t on that! If you knew any better you would know the difference between a real and a fake...

He at least knows enough to be cautious, and ask about those specific parts.. But to just say everything on ebay if a fake or "replica" is a arrogant statement and a FALSE FACT!

I wasnt defending his knock off parts, i was defending the legitimacy of ebay in the hands of someone who isnt a

Oem stock>replica type r. I would rather have a bone stock everything than put replica parts that dont even fit right. There are legitimate sellers on ebay selling real parts and then there is a shit load of knock off guys. Ebay is just a venue to sell shit. This thread should be renamed "are replica knock offs any good". The answer is no they make your car look like crap. If you want nice headlights then go buy the 30 dollar 3m kit and make em look brand new. I bet you will get alot more compliments than your ctr replica or black housing lights will. All of that is corny unless its the real deal. You no more money for the 600 dollar lights then stay with your oems and stop trying to front! You wanna show off? Good luck trying to show off your cheap ebay shit. Mabey you will fool the jdmfanboys but not real enthuisiast. You will get laughed out of town

ive had good experiences and bad experiences with ebay like he said its not where you buy it its what you buy, sometimes you waste money but if you do your research you will be ok, personally i would rather spend a little less and get good stuff and have more money to get more stuff, not all of us can afford the legit stuff some make $9.00 an hour and have rent and other bills and want a nice car there proud of so to each his own and enjoy what you have its yours not anyone elses. good luck with your build

Honestly I would buy exterior/ some interior parts from there but I would never buy anything for my motor from there.

This is a old thread...... It doesnt matter where you buy parts from. Ebay, craigslist, the auto store down the road. They all sell fake crap, and they sell legit parts. Its up to YOU the car Enthusiast to be able to tell whether something is real "oem" or a fake knock off.

If you can not tell the difference then i suggest getting a new hobby. Ive proudly bought many name brand parts off ebay! Saved me tons of money, Hell even buying JDM Password overstock on ebay is cheaper then their own actual web site!!!

I thought this thread was locked along time ago lol... People just need to stop blaming ebay for them buying shitty fake parts Ebays not to blame, its you people not knowing what the hell your throwing your money at... enough said

Whoa you cant put ebay down so bad. You can get plenty of legit parts from stores like Summit on ebay for discounted prices. Plus, look what hes asking about. You really think a ebay lip wont work the same as a for example oem ctr lip? The plastic might be somewhat cheap but things like that from ebay are worth every penny. They just sell so many and have a mold that they just crank a bunch out at really low cost, so they dont need to mark up the price high. But this cant be said for all the parts, like for example id never trust ebay coilovers.
