suspension question

i have a 2000 civic ex and i want to lower it....i need questions answered for doing so....

1. Do i need to get a camber kit if its lowered?
2. Which suspension kit should i get that wont wear out my tires in 6 months?
3. Which suspension kit can i get for 500-800 dollars?

easy questions...its just that i want other people point of view cause i dont want to half @$$ this car i want to make sure that its done right....soo im sorry if im repeating any questions that were already talked about but i really could us the help.....thanks for everyones help

1.depending on how low the drop you might need one.
2.Suspension kit doesnt matter what matters is the drop.
3.U can do a lot with that kind of range,u can do springs,and aftermarket shocks,tein,skunk2,eibach coilovers and many more.It just depends on what kind of drop you are looking for.

For camber kits I recommend SPC. You can get either aluminum or steel front camber/caster kits from SPC on ebay, user Import Auto Performance.

For the springs/shocks or coilovers, it really matters how much you want to spend, and what kind of performance and adjustability you want out of them. I would recommend PIC performance.

well i do alot of highway racing like going in and out of traffic so i need something that will handle pretty well...cause i was planning on putting a strut bar, control arms and all that good stuff is just picking out the right one for my car...so thats why i wanted everyones point-of-view of what they think is worth the money and stuff cause i dont want to half-ass this car

take it to the track. that being said, if you dont want to half ass it then spend some money and get a full coil over setup. ive learned the hard way you get what you pay for. im running tein rs coil overs and they are freakin awesome. my friend tim was using crux coil overs on his dc2 and they were sick as hell as well. both coil over setup's retail over 2 grand, but like i said you get what you pay for. good luck with your decision.
