I've been riding on Tein S tech springs on OEM struts for 4+ years now I believe. No problem, and the ride is fairly comfortable.

if you want to go with just springs I highly suggest them.

If you really want to stick with springs, I've heard alot of good things about the Tien S techs and Eibach. I wouldn't go with those ones on K2. Spending the extra money now will pay off in the long run. Right now I'm on s2 coilover springs and stock struts. The ride is fairly good

like everyone said save up and get some good coilovers! I been riding with my eibach coilovers for 5 years now and I have not had any problems with them. Do it right the first time.
