re-attaching spolier to civic coupe

hi,

i have a 2000 civic ex coupe. i recently took the spoiler off just b/c i wanted to see how it looks. i actually would like to put the spoiler back on. i can screw the bolts in and everything just fine, but i forget how to re-attach the red and black wires that come down for the LED. all i remember is that they go into my break light on the passenger side of the car, and that i had to use a wire splicer.

anyone know how to do this?

tx.

I thought from the factory the provisions are there to hook the spoiler light into the third brake light that is in the back window. I believe that it coils under the trunk area and you just disconnect your third brake light and plug in the harness from your spoiler's light.

I'm not positive because its been so long since I've worked on that, but you may check it out.

there's 2 wires going to the blinker, one is green/yellow i think and the other one is black. and for the other 3 one is red/black,green/white i think, and the other one is black. or just follow the wires going into the break bulb.......

so, the two wires going into the wire splitter are the one's from the spoiler LED, and they are going to attach into which three wires of the break bulb?

your black wire from your spoiler connect it to the black one near your lightbulb and the red one connects to the i believe green one, but you could test it by putting it on and if it stays on then it's the other one
