ej going turbo!

Hey! I've been doing some research but no luck!

Im runing a sohc zc motor with a 97 y7 intake manifold
Obd2.

Im havn trouble on how to connect the vacume hose.

Im pretty shure I knw how to conect everything but can some1 pull me to the right direction.

Lots thanx!

Motor: 91 sohc zc (bottom built)

97 y7 IM(intake manifold)

Im runing on Obd2 harness and ecu.


Any help thanx..

if you get an 96-99 EX intake manifold it will be alot better air flowing then the mani you have right now this is the manifold you want
yours comes up all wierd and its ugly xD but im sure youll have to upgrade the manifold sooner or later and that manifold has GREAT air flow hope this help you just a little

Oh wait mine looks just like that one!

Itz weird cause on the block had a d16y7 code??

But what im sayn

When I put on the turbo conect the oil line everythng.

How do I conect the vacume line the boost gauge?

I have all the fuel components done. All I need to do is slap that beast on..
Any heads up b4 I start it..

All parts that I have

Intercooler/ piping
Turbo/manifold/downpipe
Fuel pump
Fuel gauge
440cc injectors
Ecu chiped

Is there anything missing?

how much boost do you want to put on your car, because your engine isn't build for much bar on it and you'll end up blowing out the head gasket

Well im able to boost up to 20-25 pounds.. But im only gna do like abt 8-10..

on ur list i dont see BOV, wastegate and ARP head bolts. ur boost gauge goes to any vacuum source on ur manifold

also if ur motor stock i dont recommend no more then 6-8 psi with a good tune. is ur motor stock? what size turbo ur using?

Oh yeah I missed that part..

I have a greddy blow off valve

And as for the motor the block is build and the head is fully ported..

heyhey

guys, i'm gonna put a turbo on my d16y8, but i'm afraid of one thing: what about the transmission? how can i upgrade it to sustain ~300 HP?

atock tranny will be okay for 300 whp just upgrade the clutch to stage 3!
