Here in Lithuania the best way to gain more power for smallest costs is to boost d14-d15-d16 series. Its very popular

well first off find a b- series at a junk yard or something and grab the throttle body considering that the b-series tb is the same size as the aftermarket one that is sold for the 1.4 and it's a shit pile cheaper...then possibly check into the cam other then that I would say no to boost or nos considering you wanna swap it anyway

i have an ek4 and from northern ireland. i put a sraight through exhaust on it an air filter and got it screwed at the distributor cap and a 4-2-1 manifold. cheap but effective
