Question What car to buy..

I'll be getting my L in december and ive been saving up alot. im not really sure what type of car to get. I narrowed it down that i really want a civic because of the history and realibility of the car. I know how to drive stick. just not sure what civic to get ? what do u guys reccomend? i really like the EP3 but are they worth it? what do u guys think i should be aiming for as my first manual car?

P.S i know how to maintain a car so i dont really think i need a "hoop-d" i know how to drive stick and i maintain my mothers car.

i really like the ep3 as well, i own an em2 which is great too, all depends on what you plan to do with the car, if its juv for driving and nothing else i think the ep3 would save you the most gas

why not the lightest of the models , and most easily modded when it comes to swaps and power . . . . . .the eg

honda love for real , but in all honesty if you want something with some TORQUE dont buy a honda civic. i can think of plenty of cars out there that have a good dependability , better platform for performance , and strong aftermarket support for under 8k. e.g: s13 ,s14 , early WRX , sw20 , 2.5rs sube , the list goes on . . . .something to consider.

true but you might want to stay away from the s13 and s14 due to the fact that Ka is garbage unless built and SR20DET is not good for a n00b(illegal on street). just so you wont have n e probs wit your first whip i suggest staying NA (non turbo) it will save you gas and some headaches. Honda = reliability which is great for a first time ride. you dont want complications setting you back. When you learn more about cars and know exactly what u want later then go for it but an em1 or dc2 are, i think, great starter cars!

told you go ap1, for 8k you can find one, or at least in cali you could, i don't about your area, or do what i plan to do, buy a miata and drop and lsx in it , you get ok gas milage and you romp on any asshole out there, but you will go over 8k just a little. you can go with the s chassis, and i think they are selling an RB on zilvia for hella cheap, but if you want great gas mileage and some fun get a festiva, over 40 mpg and it can be fun.
