Thinking of buying CR-V. give me your opinion

I live in upstate NY, where it snows... I am trying to get rid of my civic si and integra r and looking to get a crv. I have heard mixed things, people like them but feel like they are tipsy in turns.

anyone have suggestions?

I had a 2004... Loved it... or was it a 2003? I'm getting old... LOL Either way, I loved it. I had an EX 4WD.

I've never felt tipsy in the turns. Then again, I never tried to cut a 90 degree turn around the corner at 60 MPH. To me, it drives more like a car than a truck/SUV.

Thanks for the info. My boyfriends mom said she felt tipsy in it and thats the first time I have heard that so I was just curious.
I was looking at them a few months ago and then chickened out. Now the same thing that was going for 11k is going for 15.

Wow, really? I would think any SUV type vehicle would be very reasonably priced at this time. Although, with the current drop in fuel prices, maybe there is a slight boost in sales driving up the prices.

I dont know the dealership I used to sell for (american cars YUCK) has some CHEAP cheap stuff but all the honda acura dealerships around me are ridiculous.

I paid 22,300 for my civic si last year. I was on a wait list, finally got my car. Now I want an SUV and trade in is 16-17,300. WTF

When they are selling the new Si's for 23,4 where I am... hows this make sense?!

I own a 04 CRV and I'm not that happy with it. It's tipsy when it gets windy on the highway and the mpg isn't that great. My folks have a rav4 that gets better mpg and has more power for passing on the highway. Maybe the new crv are much better but I don't know.

Well, I have an 08 CRV EX-L. I love it. I would say any SUV would feel tippsy when you compare it to a Civic Si. But I am very happy with my CRV. I get about 28MPG at 69MPH. I also like the looks and feel. The inside is very nice and the EX-L model has Leather, heated seats, dual HVAC zones up front and alot of other stuff I forget about.

Look on some of the car forums, they look great with some rims too.
