F20b Cams on H22A????

i want to drop some F20b cams on my H22a engine, i was wondering if u guys can tell me what i am going to need to do in order to put them in...i have them i just want to kno what else i need...

Interesting...just so we can get this out of the way...they should be tinted a certain color if they really are F20b manual cams.

When looking for a color aka tint on the metal....what color do you see?

That will tell me if you really have the right cams

Oh and as far as what you "need" if you have a running H22 you have all you pretty much need already...except maybe tuning items

I would recommend some better springs and retainers as well as rebuilding your head while you are in there....new LMAs/pads...get them coated...maybe get new valve guides/seals

H22 heads wear quickly and with a more agressive cam on an old motor I would take this opportunity to build a fresh foundation for smooth operation at high lift/high rpm

Oh and an upgraded timing belt for sure

But you can go ghetto mickey mouse and just throw the cams in the motor...

People often confuse what you CAN do vs what you SHOULD do....and then a few months later their crying about a blown motor/head damage
