TSB question (help)

ok i have not been on here in a while and i just recently got a 2001 s2k (pics will come soon) and i was reading threw some of the threads in the s2k section and ran across this post by loveFab AP1 and really wanted to know exactly how to tell if its been changed because i dont want to go to the dealer and ask has the TSB been done or the oil bango bolt been upgraded or whatever and they look at me crazy so if anyone could provide and info please do thanks alot

LoveFab AP1

The motor can rev to over 10k rpm stock. The 9k limit is because of factory tune, and to have a safety buffer if you peg the limiter or miss shift. You can peg 9k all you want. Your motor is not going to die because of it... Unless you have an 01 or 02 and didn't have the oil banjo bolts upgraded, in which case, your #4 cyl. is going to pop anyways...

Call the dealer or call Honda corporate. It should be under your warranty history.

Like Phun said, call them with your VIN. You aren't going to be able to tell without tearing it down a bit.
