Oh I know....Hytech has been making headers for them for YEARS now. A buddy of mine had an older bug eye elise with a B18C R motor in it....he was thinking about turbo when the K series came out -- right around the time I was looking at a K swap 2003 --- but at 10-12K it was just too much to justify

Anyway - he built a sick K series for his Elise - nice guy and a yellow elise always gets a thumbs up from me.

I just want Lotus to do it from the factory instead of voiding the warranty and having to pay for the swap

I would prefer the H2B setup in the elise but no one has tried it just yet....I hate cable transmissions so yes...I would prefer the H2B...the K isnt a bad setup but until honda makes a rod actuated trans for it...gotta run the H/F series

It's not a fair comparison, I'm actually surprised they bothered to add in the lotus. The s2000 and porsche are underclassed. One of my best friends has a 05 elise that is supercharged and aftercooled with full KW suspension, and at Sebring he leaves the exotics until the back straight (There is a guy who twin charged his elise, I think this one would definitely dominate across the gambit). The car is tiny though, and if he wasn't a hands on car guy and racing instructor, I don't think he would be so comfortable being in such a tiny car that is almost completely fiberglass... Especially with all the retards that somehow obtain drivers licenses here in Florida...

The s2000 and boxter s are practical sports roadsters... Without being heavily tuned, they don't compare to a car that was truly built for the track.
