I usually WET sand with 1k grit then the same with 2k grit, buff with some mothers, turtle, or whatever you prefer and your done.

Looks way better than the failboat polish job I tried a while back. I guess I was using the wrong sandpaper or something. Spent two hours in the sun for very little results.

thanks if you need to do a really quick polish i suggest chrome polish. pour it on rub in with microfiber towel and wipe off

or try straight up meguirs plastx put some on the headlight then wipe it in then wipe off with clean side of microfiber towel
