F1Spec Racing Seat Review
Today I received and Installed my Type 2 F1Spec Racing Seat. I am very happy with the quality of the Seat but I do have a few concerns with the Seat. First and foremost, the Weapon R Seat Brackets and the Sliders/Rails that come with the Seat, both suck ass royally. The Slider and the Weapon R Seat Brackets didnt even work tgether. I noticed in another F1Spec Seat Thread that F1Spec HAS identified the problem with the older Slider/Rails and the Weapon R Seat Brackets not working well together. They state that they will fix the issue by supplying the Correct ones needed. I'm going to call them and see whats up but for now I used JUST the Bracket. The Seat is positioned fine without using the Sliders and I am ver happy with it. The Seat is very comfortable and Im am supprisingly happy with how I fit in the Seat. Me being a big guy I figured it would be a tight fit. But NO. It is perfect. Defentiely an upgrade over Si Seats and I am snug in the Seat. If I do start to get sick of the positioning of the Seat I may in the future upgrade to the Buddy Club Low Position Seat rails, but for now I am quite happy. Sure there were a few problems but like they say "You get what you pay for" And $300 SHIPPED was an awesome Price.
I give the Seats

Ryan you are absolutely right. Im thinking about upgrading to different Brackets and Rails.

Yea Manny, that was exactly the Seat Bracket I was looking at. now does the Buddy Club Seat Bracket include Sliders? If not Im not too worry since the placement of the Seat now without Sliders in excellent. The Seat is actually pretty low to the Floor, but thats probably because I only used the Brackets and not the Sliders.

Bolted in but I did have to struggle with the Brackets. Take my advice - dont buy the Weapon R Brackets. Either throw in the extra $25 and purchase the Sparco Brackets that F!1Spec sells, or buy your own Brackets/Sliders. Like Manny was saying, Buddy Club now makes a set that is at an awesome price and is defenitely a proven name.

Nope, my head doesnt sit forward. It must be the pic. The Seat is closer to the Whel but you gotta understand that I dont have a Slider and its just the Bracket bolted to the Floor. Support is awesome. Im a big guy and I fit snug in the Seat. When taking turns there is absolutely no movement in the Seat. Padding is excellent and I feel very comfortable in the Seat. Overall its a good Seat for what I paid for it. I love it. Im just going to upgrade to better Brackets/Slider.
