Cleaning up the trunk...

Ignore the dirt and audio wires....hahaha. But I want to remove all the sound dampening stuff. What's the best way to remove that stuff? Clean it up and maybe painting flat black or something. I'm going to use an extra wheel i have as a spare. So the donut will be gone as well. Also, going to add the third EM Racing bar. I would like to see some pics of other trunks of that nature. You know cleaner than mine. hahaha

I believe dry ice and a hammer are the standard procedure for removing the tar like sound dampening material.

Thanks. I've heard that is the most effective. Does anyone have any pics of work like this done to their trunks? I would like to see finished products. Thanks

Wish I read that thread before removing mine. It took me about six hours over two days chipping away at it with a small scraper.

Does anybody think this would work, pack the dry ice on the floor of the cabin to remove the tar from the undercarriage?
