I would have to say keep your car. I LOVED the s2k's when they came out, great body, 240 HP, RWD :tu: but then I raced one the other night. I was HIGHLY disapointed... It was brand new, like 6K miles total and this kid got it from his parents. Well he drove it like it was a rental car (rough as hell and REAL hard) and he was a pretty good driver for the most part. Anyway, we lined them up he has a CAI and the DC sports catback on it, and you guys know my lude setup. I outweigh him by probably at least 300+lbs and he was no challenge. Since our cars pretty much performed the same (redline wise) I thought the weight and shit would get me.

I couldn't believe it. On top the s2k pulls pretty good, but it's just from like 6500 and up, my car hits VTEC at 5200 and it pulls HARD until about 8700-8800. Anywho to make a long story short I don't really care for the S2K's anymore since I found out how fuckin slow they are. I'd keep the hatch and drop a C5 in it w/ a 130 shot and OwN yO TiZowN!!!

WHAT....the only things that kills the WRX tranny is powershifting!

my bro has one with almost 42k miles on it....has almost 355 hp (at the wheels..thats alot of an AWD), and its fine...no problems at all....its all up to the driver...

look into audi's as well....

Keep your car or get something like a WRX or an Audi I guess. I have NEVER liked the S2K at all. I just don't like the performance they off at all. I have never driven in but rode in a couple and they are slow. I hear that you are supposed to drive them hard and that you have to be a GREAT driver to get their full potential out of them. Who wants to buy a car that requires a great driver and shit. I don't. I don't mind the looks but I can think of a million ways to spend the money better. Just me and my thoughts.

One point Id like to address is that if S2K's are so fast and powerful why isnt there any drag racing. Ive seen a few but they put up pretty crappy numbers. Im not into convertibles either, but its up to you I suppose.

well..get this..at normal shifting (5.5k) it did 0-60 in 11.5 seconds....now..thats normal for about any honda because you have to rev them so high...but just think..in a WRX, audi (with upgrades) you would still be at almost 7 seconds shifting that low....

I am sure that they are not bad at Auto-Xing but I know for sure they SUCK at drag and things. I will tell you guys a story here. Here at my track which is a 1/8th mile there was an S2K and it lined up against some old ass Subaru wagon from like the late 80s. They took off and from the start it was neck and neck. The S2K did win but not by a super amount. Only reason it won was because it of course had more power and things at the top end rather then the bottom end. The time was like 11.2seconds on the 1/8th mile. That is shitty as hell IMO and many others. I would NEVER waste my money on an S2K as I can't stand them. Just my :2:

well...depends....an A4 is a ++++++ car...which means its awesome....tranny holds 450 hp and the engine holds almost 400-500 on STOCK INTERNALS as well as 20-25 lbs of boost! thats a motor!

i would look at anything that was a 99.5-2001...once you get 2000 and 2001 you have the DBW (drive by wire) which isnt that bad once you get the upgrades. if you want it to be quick....5k gets you into low 13's with street tires....if you just want to hit mid 14's..get a chip...thats it....

if you want style and speed...get the TT...do an ATP (when it comes out later this year) turbo stage IV upgrade...which puts you at 350 whp..and gets you into low 13's and high 12's....and not to mention..it only weighs 2900 lbs!!
