i still to this day have 56k on my gateway piece. my parents bought me a go-ped insted of cable internet when i was young so i would be outside more and not sit on my ass all day and play video games

My father still uses it at his house. Comcrap (aka Comcast) killed a red maple tree running cable under our driveway many years ago and they denied it and refused to give my father any money or discount for cable so he's never gotten fast internet or even basic cable service.

He was adjusting the chimney mounted antenna with the little box trying to get the Daytona 500 in clear on Fox, my wife and I left and came home to watch it on cable in HD.
