r33 gtr vs supra tt

Hey everyone, I have exactly 15k usd to spend on a car once I get to Montreal, the r33 and the supra are both JDM imports with about the same kilometers, which would you choose and why?

I'm not some fanboy who doesn't know anything about cars, I chose these 2 because they were in my price range, and I love the internals of both engines. I would most likely be doing just basic performance mods to either like turboback exhaust, up the boost, better clutch and some tires with more grip.

Pros of the skyline : awd, good for winter also, since in Montreal the winters suck
Cons of the skyline : aftermarket support isnt that great, but then again I'm only wanting basic performance mods

Pros of the supra : amazing aftermarket support, more experienced with the 2jz engine
Cons of the supra : not awd, which is bad for the winter, but it wouldn't be too hard to manage

Both sound amazing, inline 6, and would be great cars, but I want to know if there would be some deciding factors to have me choose? Thanks!

Why the R33?

They're fat pigs and don't even look that great.

The R32 is a better car if you're looking for performance, although the R33 does have some advances in their electronics and the interior.

To be honest the RB motor is getting more and more support over here in North America, so as long as you don't mind paying a little extra for shipping, you can get pretty much everything you'd want for your motor or chassis through some American supplier.

Lastly... do you really want to drive either one of those two cars in the winter? Unless Montreal city workers don't use salt to clear the roads up there, either of those two cars will get rust with the quickness, if you drive them around in winter times.

Since when did the R33 not have solid aftermarket support? If you could get either for 15K, I'd rock the Skyline.

I dont think he said they have no aftermarket support, he just simply stated that they are fat pigs lol

I agree about driving in the winter too. IMO the skyline would be the better pick, but that would be my choice.

Everyone says R33's are heavy cars, but with a competent driver, they will still outrun many lighter cars on a road course (even in the corners), the wonders of technology huh?
