But the BEST synthetics start out as far from conventional as possible, as far as base stock. Amsoil, Redline, and Eneos are all very good. I'm an Amsoil user personally.

I was a die hard M1 fan for years but I have recently switched to Castrol Syntec with both of my cars and been very pleased with the results. M1 always came out of my cars looking very weak and filthy. The Syntec doesn't break down as easily from what I can tell. I have not had my oil tested though, this is purely based on observation and driving.

Mobil1 Full Synthetic 10w30 and Mobil 1 Oil filter ftw
going on 7 years of this, havent used anything better. Only oil i would try on a good wallet will be Royal Purple! heard good things about this oil.
