Project Tamama!, My White EG Hatch Strip and re-build!

Hi all,

Im new to this site, a mate of mine just recomended it to me, so i thought i would post up some details of my Project "EGx" Civic hatchback!

Its a 1991 EG3 Dx (1.3 SOHC) UK spec car, this project is to create my "dream" / "prefect" EG Civic hatchback track car, using some of the best parts honda made as std from many models. This is NOT an exercise in fitting as many JDM parts/ going "JDM stylee" or any other B/S im just making in my eyes my "prefect" car using parts i like visualy or parts i know will improve the car.

Over the Course of june the car will be rebuilt, and i shall be keeping a daily update of progress... and not so progress :lol: so pls do visit my "blog" theres not a heck of alot to see so far, but check back as the project will be getting properly underway from next monday (the 5th)!

1.6L DOHC
Flywheel : 185PS as std
Torque : 118Lb/Ft as Std
Weight: 900KG (TBC its what im aiming for tho)
Weight Distribution (Front/Rear): ???/???kg

And 115.62bhp/Litre

K&N Pannel Filter with modded Std Air box

Exhaust all 2.5 inch JDM spec -
EK9 Exhuast Manifold
JDM Cat

Spoon N1 Back Box - 108 DB @ 4.5K rpm
Spoon N1 Bung - 99.5DB @ 4.5K rpm

Magencor KV85 8.5mm Competition ignition leads.
HKS Super Fire Spark Plug S45

ITR Full Width Radiator

well if that is the case then tough the whole point of the blog is so i dont have to post the same thing on lots of forums.

However ive had reports from other ppl n the usa that they cant see the pics on my blog - i hope to have sorted this now!

ok ok some piccys just for you guys

How it all started out last september:





Bog std D16Z6 - it lasted a whole hour or so before being removed lol



Booo hiss dull gray interior...

By december it was looking more like this:



Removed all the sound deadening - now pointlessly but i didnt know i was gonna get a new shell at the time!
