Howdy,

Well, you probably first said "what the hell is an LE5?". And then you clicked it and you saw a Cobalt. Yep, that's an LE5 Cobalt SS 2.4. lol. Referring to an old post, I'm an old-school JDMU member and have since changed cars. I browse the forum every once in a while and I love what you guys are doing on here. I tried to keep my Cobalt really low-key and as clean as possible. Hopefully you will agree that it's not the badge on the car that matters, but rather the cleanliness and execution. I know the car is not insanely clean, but it hit 70 today and I figured I'd go mess around with the camera. Nikon D60.

Recaros . GMPP catback . Eibach Sportline springs . 8000k HID's . blackout headlights . spoiler removal . 30% tint . Injen CAI . DC strut bar . etc

Looks alot better than a Cavalier. I wish Chevy would have kept SS in the past.
Now there are just to many of the modern SS cars. The Trailblazer is cool.

It is indeed an auto. Long story. It also is behind the strip district. It's one of the only places downtown that you can go and park and no one will bother you.. lol

The car is an SS 2.4. Over a few year span, there have been different variations on the car.. There was an SS n/a and an SS with boost. The boost was either s/c or t/c. The SS 2.4 was the n/a version which would be comparable to a B18. Over the other engines, it adds VVT and has stronger internals, as well as a higher compression ratio. It's good for about 175-ish stock. I have a couple mods on it, and it opened up alot. It's a good daily driver, and it's very well balanced between handling, braking, go-fast, and looks. I try to keep it as clean as possible. It's gone through many stages, but after a few more things, I'll be leaving it as-is. I'll update after it's done..
