You may want to bring that rpm up alittle. It may pop really hard right now but it takes a hp/torque loss before it actually hits vtec. Best way to tell is make some passes on a dyno though. Everyone else is probley running alot smaller of a cam then you, so they can get away with such low crossovers. rob

my b16a with stock p30 program popped at 6000... which seems high but ran strong -- tach could have been off--- but seemed ok to me!

i have spec b's and i have a p28 with various chips that i have switched. butt dyno--haha. anyway. all the chips that i had, had a changeover at 5700 or less. i did use a jun chip which i actually liked the best where i switched under 9000 since the rev limit was at 9100. the jun chip that i have has a 5600 or 5700 changeover, not sure. rob was telling me there are 2 chips from jun so either way, i would like to higher the engagement to at least 6000 and see how it runs. but if 6000 is programmed with the jun chip, i guess ill find out when i use a vafc and dyno. seems like the best way. Running a mugen chip at the moment and just seems like the that program suits type-r cams real well.
