What year Skyline? GTS-T? GT-R? There are many trims ya know...
STi is probably more financially feasible for you.

What the fuck is up with all these fucking e-thugs coming into the Nissan forums putting their dueces up cause they're too fucking dumb to take a moment and think about what they've just typed before they submit their replies?
Of course I don't know you, nor do I know anything about you. But judging from your reply, it's obvious that you've never owned anything that are unique enough that anything you want to buy for it, you'd have to either buy from another country, or importers that will charge you a shit load of money for the same part that you could get from your local auto parts store like VatoZone or what have you. Just some simple stuff like gaskets would cost you an arm and a leg after shipping for a Skyline, because you have to buy from specialty stores, whereas you can just walk into VatoZone, talk to the Mexican behind the counter and try to make him understand you've got an STi and all you need is a gasket for 30 minutes, and you're on your way, only paying like $5. The RB series engine has nothing in common (99% unique to the rest of the Nissans) with the rest of the Nissans, and same with the chassis itself, so really, you're fucked if you broke something at 8:30pm on the interstate on a Thursday night. Even if you had AAA you'd just be able to tow the car home and let it sit for like a month before you could do anything to it. And because the car is so "unique" that, most of the mechanics around probably don't even know what kind of car it is, much less be able to work on it. So, honestly, does being unique sound so good now? Unless you are a capable mechanic yourself, and can perform a lot of the work on the car, and know exactly where to get your parts from, it is STUPID to get a car that 90% of the rest of the people don't have, because when something goes wrong, you're plain FUCKED. Going back to ekbaby702, you drive a Civic, or so your sig would imply, so if that's the case, of course you would tell this guy to get something unique, because you yourself drive something that's not unique at all, and you're basing your opinion on the fact that, the OP should do what you would do if he was in your shoes, not the other way around, which is what I'm trying to do. I'm trying to help the OP decide, by qualifying his financial and mechanical situations to help him make a better choice. I like people to think for themselves, but I guess around these forums, that's considered me being a dick. Well whatever, I'm a dick, but I'm not an e-thug like you, slinging curse words left and right because that's the only insults you seem to know. Which is fine, just helps me solidify my assumption that you don't know much. I could be wrong, and most of the time I am, but right now, you just sound like another Skyline fanboi who would whore your ass out on the corner of the street for $5 a fuck in the ass to afford one. But then again, you sound like you'd do that for a K20A too.

I am pretty sure the only skyline that is legalized in Canada land is the R32. Not worth it in my opinion.
