First off if I don't get a Type S and just get the standard model where can I pick up the Factory Front/Rear Lips, and also are those Factory Side Skirts that come on all the Models?

the '99-'01 TL are basically the same. the '99 comes with a 4-speed auto and the '00-'01 have a 5-speed auto.
the '99 has a hard-disk navi as the ONLY option. the '00-'03 have dvd based navigation as the ONLY option.
the Type-S was introduced for the '02-'03 model year. 260Hp at the crank which translates to about 190-200 at the wheel. all other TL's ('99-'03) are 225hp at the crank (not sure about whp).
the A-Spec came for '03 only (as far as the 2nd generation TL is concerned). it was only available in Canada. most notable difference between the regular '03 TL and that one... comes with body kit from the factory, spoiler/wing is the same as the JDM Inspire wing with the two parking lights at the top, color-matched headlights, grille, door handles, and some color-coded stuff in the interior. otherwise, they are the same thing.
also, be warned, the transmission on these car's are pretty weak. honda actually extended the powertrain warranty to 7yrs/100k miles. it can happen to ANYONE... regardless of how you drive or what you've done to the car.
otherwise, the car is a dream.

What kind of wheels do you plan on getting?
Is the car AT or MT Transmission.

www.acura-tl.com is a pretty good comunity. personally, there's too many people there with the same questions over and over and they seem a little too immature. i'm just glad i've learned what i need to know about this car already. you can run into something good over there every once in a while though.
there's a good chance im getting some wheel's soon. i'll be sure to post once i get them on.
the 2nd generation TL only comes in auto.
