DC headers
im buying some DC headers, but i just got pulled over and the cop said that the ones on their are illegal. howvever the dc headers that im buying dont have the carb plate but the guy who selling them is telling me that all of DC sports products are carb legal, how can i prove this to the court when it comes time to show them that i have carb legal headers now ?

Every DC header comes with a serial number plate welded on the runner near the flange....check the serial number with DC and have them fax over a carb number to your nearest kinkos or whatever....you can take the fax from DC to court to prove your serial number is indeed carb legal (if it really is carb legal)

Some of DCs headers are "race only" items as they have no provision for a exhaust system and run "open header" in some applications

I doubt you have a full race header so you more than likely have a CARB EO number waiting for you if you call DC with you serial number.

Nothing beats custom....too many configurations and variances to build a "one size fits all" header

Mass produced headers are for simple/low cost builds

the dc sports header flows just as good as the type r header, theyre great if you dont over pay.....the ones with the plate are legal fk them polcia's
