Its got USDM wrx front brakes on it right now, the front drivers (right) caliper apparently didn't like sitting, and needs a rebuild, and I needed to be able to drive the car around when I was on my 2 week leave from Iraq so yea, the setup is fucked up right now, LOL! But when I come back to the states they're either getting rebuilt, or getting Project Mu fronts. The steering wheel is a temporary cheap solution, once again, getting replaced when i'm back to the states. Well, a LOT of things getting fixed/replaced when I get back. But here she is as it sits...

But anyway, vice nice project.

Would probably look better, and for the tires to fit the wheels better, if you went with a 235/40/17 instead.

Subaru's wheel wells aren't like Honda's, its pretty much impossible to tuck tire. Thats as low as I can go with out rubbing, AND the fenders/quarters are rolled/pulled.

And as far as the tires, function > form, this isn't a show car, its a fun car.

Lol... I like it how it is, low enough that the wheel gap is gone, but high enough that I can drive it, not rub, and not have -5028 degrees of camber. I've had SLAMMED cars before to the point that I couldnt even pull in my driveway without going one wheel at a time and STILL scraping, thats just not fun. As I stated before... Function > Form. And thanks for the positive comments messatsu

Thanks, I like em too! I used to have a turbo ej18 gc wagon back in 2005, its was fun, but very sloppy (it was pretty much bone stock except turbo, exhaust, rims). No times with this or anything, its mainly setup for corners right now, just lots of curvy/mountain roads. The engines pretty close to stock so it not really worth taking to a drag strip. If I don't get a Skyline next May-June when I get back from Iraq then this is will be pushing 500+ awhp with all the proper supporting mods. Either way i'm keeping this, cleaning up the body/interior, just time will tell if this becomes my daily, or my track/weekend car.

very nice car indeed. it also totally meets my philosophy about function over form.
nothing special with the looks, but still some decent performance. I personally sticked to this kind of "looks" policy - it keeps cops' attention out of you and does not give any reason to stupid mofos on the streets to dare you racing.
anyways, one suggestion - clean up your engine bay
